Happy Tuesday! We are excited to bring to you another development update!

Important Progressions

Design Focus

We are very close to reaching a finalized version of the instructor views on Cloud Music Suite. While talking back and forth with some of our lined up instructors, we found that they wanted to take a slightly different approach than originally anticipated, and have had to backpedal on some of the choices we believed to be decided already. Initial reactions to the updated design have been much better than the first rendition, and it is expected that both the instructor and student views will be able to start being implemented into the website very soon!

Functionality Focus

We are making great progress on the integral features of Cloud Music Suite. As of now, we have a fully functioning scheduling system, as we have mentioned in a prior blog. We also have completed the file system! Students and instructors alike will be able to upload documents, audio files, video files, and many more to access and share in the dashboard. Instructors will have the ability to create folders and files that can be shared with their students at the time of a lesson being scheduled. So if an instructor has music that he/she would like you to view prior to their lesson with you, you will have access to that content at the time of booking your lesson!

Since our last blog, we have started to shift the development focus over to the instructor experience from the student experience. Shedding some light on what we are working on will hopefully make you aware of where we are in the process and will make you, whether you are a student or an instructor, understand a little more about what is going on under the hood. This being said, we have begun developing the instructor onboarding flow that instructors will work through when they first sign into Cloud Music Suite. This will set them up for payment as well as their profile creation. The next steps in the process will be to link our stripe integration with individual instructors, so that instructors can get paid for their work.

After we work through the instructor experience, we will begin working on some more of the background functionality that will make you, both instructors’ and students’ lives way easier, such as email reminders! We want to make sure that instructors and students are reminded when they have a lesson so that you are always aware of when your next lesson is.

Thank you for tuning into this development! We are excited to bring this platform to you in these times of struggle. We hope everyone has a happy holiday season and a happy new year!
